RECIPE: HOW TO ROLL VEGGIE SUSHI 101
INGREDIENTS LIST
- Trader Joes Frozen Brown Rice
- Nori/Seaweed Sheets (found in International Food Aisle)
- 1 carrot sliced thin or shredded carrots
- 1 cucumber cut in thin slices
- 1 avocado
OTHER NEEDS
- 1 piece of wax paper, aluminum foil, or plastic wrap
- 1 clean dish towel
- Liquid Aminos or Soy Sauce of Choice
HOW TO ROLL SUSHI 101
(NORI SHEET ROUGH SIDE UP AND SHINY SIDE DOWN)
VEGGIE SUSHI IN 6 PHOTO STEPS!
STEP 1: Lay towel out & cover with sheet of wax paper. Place Nori Sheet rough side up and shiny side down on top of the towel. Cover with as much brown rice as you desire.
STEP 2: Take cut veggies of choice and place them on top of the rice.
STEP 3: Line the towel, wax paper, and Nori sheet up and using the towel begin to roll everything together and push down tightly.
STEP 4: After that make sure to re align the towel, wax paper sheet, and Nori Sheet as shown above.
STEP 5: Grab underneath the towel again and roll everything over one last time making sure to tightly press down to make sure everything is held into place.
STEP 6: ENJOY! Feel free to eat the roll as is or cut it into individual pieces.
